The Career Skills online resource is geared specifically for students who have limited or no work experience. Perfect for those ready for their first internship or first job, Career Skills helps students to improve their work habits and employability, to achieve success in the workplace. The lessons are interactive and entirely online. The lessons begin with a short discussion that covers various aspects of each topic. Following that discussion, the student takes a short quiz. At the end of the lesson, the student can print out a certificate of achievement with his/her quiz score to present to their career development counselor or supervising educator.
The Career Skills tool is sponsored by the CTE Center for University of Hawaii students. Hawaii Department of Education schools are eligible to purchase a discounted license from the vendor.
